Silver is a powerful antibiotic because it acts as a catalyst, disabling the particular enzyme that many bacteria, fungus and viruses use for their metabolism. The disease causing organisms either starve or suffocate, for many others their internal protoplast collapse if their bodily charge is opposite to the silver particles, and still others are unable to reproduce themselves. Yet silver particles, if small enough, do not harm the human or animal host.

Vitamin A?

Though a colloid of silver is inorganic and vitamin A is organic, there are similarities between them. True colloids of silver contain an electrically charged trace element of silver particles that remain suspended in a solution indefinitely. Colloids of silver that require a "stabiliser" indicate that the particles are too big and the charge cannot maintain the silver in a dispersed state. In true colloids, the charge keeps the particles evenly distributed and they do not settle out. Why? Because the particles of a true colloid of silver (1-100 billionth of a meter in size) are small enough not to be affected by gravity. Like vitamin A, if a person ingests more than is necessary, the excess silver is shunted out of the body through the mechanism of metal enzymes. You cannot overdose on a true colloid of silver.

What is Colloidal Silver?

Silver is an unusual element in health science. It is a pure all natural solid metallic form, consisting of sub-microscopic particles suspended in an aqueous liquid medium, by an electrical charge placed in each particle.

What is a Colloid?

A colloid is a substance composed of particles that are extremely ultra fine and ultra light. They are 0.005-0.015 microns in diameter, so as to assure the best absorption and use by the body. These ultra fine and ultra light particles in a colloid do not dissolve but remain suspended in a suitable liquid. All living things exist in a colloidal state. Most over-the counter medications are in a crystalline state.

Before any medication can be used, the body must convert it from a crystalline state to a colloidal state. The body can more readily use medications already in the colloidal form, as opposed to the crystalline.

A colloidal of silver is a powerful, natural antibiotic. It is a usable form of the most effective disease, germ, virus and fungus killer available. It has been found to be both a remedy and prevention for colds and flu, most infections and all fermentation due to any bacteria, fungus or virus, especially staph and strep, which are often found in diseased conditions. It has been reported to rapidly subdue inflammation and promote faster healing. The body needs Silver to fight disease-causing organisms and to aid healing. Silver in our Bodies?

We get Silver and all minerals in the body through the food we eat. This comes directly from organic soil. This soil is rich in living organisms. These organisms break down the soil, so plants are provided minerals, in a form assimilable to the plant. Hence we get silver naturally from the minerals present in organically grown plants. If we eat plants that have been grown on chemical fertilisers, as most plants are grown today, without living organisms in the soil to help provide nutrition to the plant, we do not get the quality of vitamins and minerals which are available in organically grown foods. Thus, deficiencies develop. As the tissues age, or if we cannot assimilate silver for some reason, we develop a silver deficiency and an impaired immune system that can lead to cancer and other diseases. Some suspect a silver deficiency is possibly one of the main reasons cancer exists and is increasing at such a rapid rate today.

Dr. Robert Becker, Professor of Orthopaedics at New York State University and a noted silver researcher, noticed a correlation between low silver levels and sickness as well a slow regeneration of bones. People who had low silver levels were frequently sick, had innumerable colds, flu, fevers and other sicknesses. He said he believed a silver deficiency was the reason for the improper functioning of the immune system. He found that silver works on a wide range of bacteria, without any side effects or damage to the cells of the body, and can stimulate major growth of injured tissues.

The March 1978 issue of Science Digest mentioned that there are more than 650 disease causing organisms that silver is effective against, but did not list the organisms nor provided a comprehensive bibliography. It is interesting that in the 1990's we have found that the silver mineral does have an effect on other pathogenic bacteria, virus and fungi, we have also found some limitations. Silver does not kill or inhibit all forms of bacteria, virus or fungi. Actually, this is good news for us. If Silver killed all organisms then it would also kill essential healthy flora, necessary to maintain life, both human and animal.

Modern Usage

As in pre-1938 period, various applications continue to include oral, topical, by injection, as a nasal, ear or eye drops and even on other sensitive tissues. Silver has been applied directly to cuts, scrapes, eczema, acne and open sores. A few drops on a Band-Aid and worn over abrasions, open sores and even warts. It has been successfully used in the treatment of these conditions. Depending on an individuals body weight, age, metabolism and general health, a typical dosage of Silver has ranged from an eighth of a teaspoon to as high as three teaspoons.

On file are reports from many people who have reported the prevention or a reduction of several illnesses during changing seasons or the rapid recovery of current illnesses. As mentioned before it is like having another immune system. Others, after taking an individually determined dosage, have gone through a "cleansing" of bodily toxins prior to full recovery from illnesses. Documentation reports neither adverse side effects nor any harm to the person taking Silver.

The Food and Drug Administration Centre for Drug Evaluation and Research (USA) has stated;

"Colloidal Silver is considered to be a pre 1938 drug. These products may continue to be marketed without submitted evidence of safety and effectiveness (required of all prescription drugs marketed after 1938) as long as they are advertised and labelled for the same use as in 1938 and as long as they are manufactured in the original manner".

Normal Dosage
Adults: 10 Sprays (1 teaspoon) for 7 days then 5 (1/2 teaspoon) daily. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your practitioner.

Children: 1/4 to 1/2 of adult dosage.

Severe Illness: 100ml in one daily dose (Note the Liver must be supported to cope with the dead toxins (Curcumin etc), Cold or Flu symptoms: Triple the normal Dosage for 3 days, then follow the normal regime. To maintain good health and as a safeguard against infection and disease: take 1/2 a teaspoon everyday.

You may require more or less silver depending on your individual body chemistry. Remember Silver is a pure and safe mineral element and there are no known toxic effects. A few people may feel achy and sluggish on the third or fourth day after they start taking Silver. This is known as a "healing crisis". Eyes: Put a drop in the eyes each night before bed, 3 times per day (for severe ailments every hour).
