ACTIONS
Immunostimulant (increasing phagocytosis and specific immunity)
Bitter digestive stimulant, hepatoprotective (liver) , choleretic (increases bile flow)
antipyretic (reduces fever), anti inflammatory.
Considered a cooling remedy
USES
Bacterial & Viral infection , common cold, flu, bronchitis, tonsilitis.
Enteric infections, diarrhoea, travellers 'tummy bugs".

digestive disorders, loss of appetite, flatulence
prevention of infections , e.g. colds ,flu.
CONTRAINDICATIONS & CAUTIONS
Not suitable in pregnancy.
Large doses in a liquid form may cause nausea.
